Job summary

Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Optician to educate customers and elevate performance of our eyewear products at the Boca Raton store.

As a store leader, you will train the team, deliver exceptional customer service, manage Rx expansion opportunities, and engage the local community while upholding our inclusive culture.

This full-time role requires a state license, retail experience, and the ability to stand most of the day; a bonus/commission plan is offered.

Qualifications

• Current State Optician License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on lenses and frames to drive informed purchases.
• Lead optical operations and partner with store management for Rx expansion.
• Foster learning so team becomes experts in eyewear products and services.
• Engage local community to attract new customers and build relationships.
• Ensure accurate use of technology and processes under busy conditions.
