Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, seeks an Optician to dispense eyewear and contact lenses, train staff, and support store performance. You will assist customers, educate on products, and maintain patient records while achieving sales goals.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, quality control, and inventory management in a fast-paced retail setting. Licensing and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license required by state
• 3+ years related experience or training preferred
• Strong customer service and communication abilities
• Confident selling skills with ability to meet store goals
• Organized, detail-minded, able to multitask in a busy setting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including inserting/removing contact lenses and product education.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up and notifications.
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes, following safety standards, and adhering to company policies.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising standards, and a clean work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Preferred Qualifications
