Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Licensed Optician to blend technical expertise with exceptional patient care in an on-site store. You will help clients find eyewear solutions that enhance vision and confidence while working with a collaborative team focused on growth and outstanding service.

The role includes earning performance-based commissions in addition to base pay and benefits, with opportunities for professional development within Now Optics’ growing network of optical centers.

Qualifications

• Active ABO and NCLE certification and/or applicable State license.
• Experience delivering outstanding patient and customer service as a Licensed Optician.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A consultative approach with confidence recommending products and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm and memorable experience for every patient in-store.
• Recommend eyewear products based on vision needs, lifestyle, and budget.
• Achieve individual and store sales goals while following policies.
• Educate patients on eyewear options to aid informed decisions.
• Measure, fit, and adjust lenses and frames per prescriptions; perform minor repairs.
• Resolve prescription and eyewear concerns with effective solutions.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional store environment.

What You'll Do

• Achieve individual and store sales goals while following company policies and procedures.
• Educate patients on eyewear options and help them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames according to prescriptions, determine lens specifications, and perform minor eyewear repairs and adjustments.
• Identify and resolve prescription and eyewear concerns by providing effective solutions and outstanding patient care.
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional store environment that enhances the patient experience.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Active ABO and NCLE certification and/or applicable State license.
• Experience delivering outstanding patient and customer service as a Licensed Optician.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
