Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs.
Provide customer member service leadership – Model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer Member service approaches and techniques to ensure needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards.
Community outreach – Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging Associates to serve as good community members.
Compliance and safety – Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, overseeing safety operational and quality assurance reviews, developing and implementing action plans to improve performance, and ensuring confidentiality of information and documentation.
Associate development – Provide supervision and development opportunities, hire, train, mentor, assign duties, recognize associates, and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace.
Optical quality & education – Provide quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment.
Open Door Policy – Uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing Company policies, and suggesting resolutions.
