MedQuest Health Services, Inc. in California is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will meet with multiple patients daily, assess needs, and craft customized therapy plans to help improve mobility and independence.

Collaborating with physicians and other care team members, you will educate patients on lifestyle changes and provide supportive, positive coaching throughout treatment. A compassionate approach and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients.

Responsabilités

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient.
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals.
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care.
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress.
