Job summary

Renewal Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Michigan. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive OT services under physician orders. Must be licensed/registered and in good standing with NBCOT where required.

We offer competitive pay in the $75,000–$90,000/year range, with a focus on quality care, ongoing education, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and/or registered as an Occupational Therapist.
• OT must be in good standing with NBCOT (if state mandated).
• Licensed in-state to practice occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations based on physician orders.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with goals, frequency and modalities.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Deliver patient care and adjust treatment per precautions and guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely, accurately and adhering to all guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S.,MA, or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapythat the AOTA recognizes.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)
• OT holds a current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist in-state as applicable.
