Job summary

Northgate Care Center, located in Iowa, seeks an Administrator to lead daily operations, maintain high care standards, and foster a positive facility culture. You will oversee all aspects of the skilled nursing operation and drive strategic goals while ensuring resident safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Management or related field and an unencumbered Iowa LNHA license; prior administrator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or related field required.
• Unencumbered Iowa LNHA license required.
• Prior Administrator or Department Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of facility operation and establish facility-wide goals.
• Instill a positive, inclusive culture and ensure high standard of care for residents.
• Lead problem solving and strategic planning to support growth and quality outcomes.

As an Administrator you are the heart of the facility. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining facility wide goals, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of facility operation. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or related field, an unencumbered State of Iowa Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA). Prior Administrator or Department Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
