About the Role

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNFA) is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to senior residents. This role involves strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight to maintain a safe, supportive, and efficient environment for both residents and staff. The LNFA acts as a key liaison between healthcare providers, families, and regulatory agencies, advocating for resident well-being and organizational excellence. They lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to uphold best practices in senior care while managing budgets, staffing, and facility resources effectively. Ultimately, the LNFA ensures that the nursing home meets all legal, ethical, and quality standards while fostering a culture of compassion and respect for the elderly population served.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid and current Nursing Home Administrator license in Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing home administration or senior care management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and senior care best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills demonstrated through previous supervisory roles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology integration.
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare settings or with specialized senior populations.
  • Proven track record of successful regulatory inspections and accreditation achievements.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing home, including resident care, staff management, and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing home operations and resident care standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and operational efficiency.

  • Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and accreditation processes.
