Job summary

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH seeks a Licensed Nursing Assistant to support patient care across the Thompson Unit. You will assist RNs and LPNs with examinations, prepare equipment, and provide basic daily living activities focused on comfort and safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, NH LNA license, and BLS certification within 3 months of hire. Training in 12-lead EKG and glucose meters is preferred; two years of related experience is also advantageous.

Qualifications

• The LNA assists with age-appropriate patient care and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/LPN/other healthcare providers with examinations and treatments as requested.
• Prepare equipment for procedures as directed.
• Provide basic care related to bathing, skin care, mobility, elimination, and nutrition.
