Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to support the perioperative services department. You will assist with ADL’s, patient care, and help coordinate administrative tasks within the Patient Care Services team to facilitate patient flow.

Applicants should have completed an LNA program and hold NH licensure, with basic medical terminology knowledge and EMR experience considered a plus.

Our perioperative services department is a collaborative care continuum. It is comprised of Pre-Admission Services, Pre-Admission Testing Clinic, and a 25-bed Pre-Op/PACU department. Our PACU Staff are highly trained critical care nurses that optimize patients’ health prior to surgery, safely recover patients from the effects of anesthesia, provide multimodal pain management, and enhanced recovery through patient and family education. The Nurses & Nursing Assistants play a vital role in ensuring surgical patients receive high-quality, safe care that promotes comfort and a speedy recovery.

About The Job

Clinical Assistants (LNAs) are a combination of Health Unit Coordinators and Licensed Nursing Assistants. As a member of the Patient Care Services team, Clinical Assistants support in patient care, coordinate administrative functions of assigned patient care areas, and facilitate patient flow throughout the department.
