Job summary

Elliot Health System’s Fitch unit seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to deliver both direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. You will support daily living activities, assist with phlebotomy, telemetry, and unit coordination while upholding safety and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to infection prevention, and compassionate care across diverse patient needs in a 45-bed acute unit in New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant License in the State of New Hampshire required.
• BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of date of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an LNA
• MS Office proficiency required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models Elliot Essentials behavior with patients, peers and health care team.
• Performs activities of daily living for patients.
• Provides basic support to patients and families respecting cultural and religious preferences.
• Performs clinical tasks within LNA scope per Elliot Health System policies.
• Reports observations and changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Assists with patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Maintains infection prevention and safety practices.
• Coordinates with team to ensure accurate patient charts and data.
