Job summary

Jobtailor in Manchester, NH is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support providers with patient care in assigned clinical areas. You will assist with exams, procedures, vital signs, dressing changes, and bladder scans, while preparing visit charts and anticipating information for provider visits.

You will document clearly and help manage supplies, act as a preceptor for new staff, and respond to emergent situations as needed. Strong regulatory and policy adherence is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Current Nursing Assistant License in the State of New Hampshire required.
  • BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of date of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas.
  • Assist with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, dressing changes, vital signs, and bladder scans.
  • Perform general administrative duties in accordance with accrediting bodies, regulatory and government standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Perform visit chart preparation activities based on the daily scheduled appointments.
  • Anticipate care information to support provider visit.
  • Perform rooming activities for provider visits according to the documented rooming criteria.
  • Obtain and document age and/or condition‑specific measurements accurately.
  • Document using clear, concise, and professional written skills.
  • Manage clinical supplies and medication sample areas to ensure that stock is current, stored appropriately, labeled and par levels maintained.
  • Act as a principal preceptor in the clinical orientation of new staff.
  • Identify emergent situations and communicate to appropriate personnel for interventions.
  • Function in emergent situations pertinent to the role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
