Job summary

Elliot Health System's Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit (CICU) seeks a Licensed Nursing Assistant to support RN-led care in a 47-bed unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide compassionate patient care, and help maintain safety and privacy standards.

The role requires a NH CNA license, at least two years in acute care, and basic life support readiness. Nights, 36 hours weekly, with weekend commitments provide stable scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of current experience in an acute care setting
• Current New Hampshire Nursing Assistant License
• Current BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Clinical level proficiency and in-depth knowledge of nursing practice

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN
• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Document in the medical record according to policies
• Follow infection prevention/universal precautions policies
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork
