University of Vermont Health - Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, VT is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide supportive care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves performing tasks designated by the RN, assisting with patient needs, and collaborating with the nursing team in a 25-bed acute care setting.
Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, completion of an LNA training program, and an unrestricted Vermont LNA license.
The Nurse Aide is responsible and accountable for providing supportive care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Nurse Aide will carry out specific tasks and procedures as designated by the Registered Nurse in accordance with hospital policy and established job functions. He/she will cooperate with nursing staff in meeting needs and/or wants of patients by performing tasks for which the employee has been prepared.
High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent experience. Current licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont – unrestricted.
