Job summary

GUARDIAN REAL ESTATE INSPECTIONS is looking for a Licensed North Carolina Home Inspector to conduct high-quality residential inspections. The job entails flexible scheduling and the possibility of remote reporting, promoting professional growth within a systems-driven, integrity-focused environment.

Applicants should have a valid North Carolina Home Inspector License and the ability to produce clear inspection reports. Experience in the building trades and familiarity with inspection software is preferred. This role allows for field inspections and administrative work from home.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Home Inspector License is required.
• Strong knowledge of North Carolina building systems and standards of practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to produce clear and client-friendly reports is vital.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are necessary.
• Ability to safely access roofs, attics, and crawlspaces is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home inspections following NCHILB standards.
• Document findings accurately and produce timely inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with clients, agents, and team members.
• Maintain safe work practices in various confined areas.
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education
