Job summary

White Funeral Homes is seeking an intern or licensed mortician to serve their five locations in the southern Twin Cities Metro area. Compensation is based on experience, and an apartment is available for staff.

Responsibilities include overseeing all funeral services from removal to final disposition, guiding families with compassion, preparing the deceased for viewings, and coordinating with hospitals and agencies for necessary paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Funeral Service or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a funeral home or similar environment is highly preferred.

Requirements
  • - Ability to obtain a MN Mortician License or a MN Registered Mortician Intern.
  • - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Funeral Service or a related field.
  • - Previous experience in a funeral home or similar environment is highly preferred.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor.
  • - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
