Job summary

Columbia Mental Health, part of Transformations Care Network, seeks licensed mental health therapists to provide outpatient therapy and develop comprehensive treatment plans. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support diverse clients and contribute to ongoing supervision and professional growth.

Qualified candidates hold a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field and an active license in VA or MD (or eligibility).

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Current and active professional license in VA/MD or eligible for licensure.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff to provide holistic care.
