Job summary

BetterCare Wellness is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to work on-site with older adults in senior living communities. You will provide counseling services to foster resilience, connection, and quality of life, with the freedom to shape your schedule and approach within a collaborative, mission-first team.

Fully licensed in North Carolina, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with families and staff while maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, Psychologist or equivalent) in North Carolina
• Interest in working with older adults or in geriatric mental health preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
• Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to shape new programs
• Passion for making a meaningful impact in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to older adults in senior living communities
