Position Summary

The Outpatient Therapist delivers therapeutic services in accordance with Medicaid guidelines, collaborates with treatment teams, and ensures accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screening, evaluation, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and provide individual and family therapy.
• Communicate with supervisors and treatment team members.
• Complete documentation per Medicaid and insurance requirements.
• Monitor client progress and update crisis plans as needed.

Education & Experience

• Required: Master’s degree in a human services field and licensure (LCSW(A), LCMHC(A), LMFT(A), or equivalent).
• Must be licensed in North Carolina; associate or fully licensed clinicians accepted.

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a human service field and provisional or full licensure by the state of North Carolina is required. Therapists must meet the licensure and/or experience requirements as specified in the service description based on the person-served’s needs.
