Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other related mental health discipline required.
• One (1) or more years of experience in a mental health treatment program, preferably in a correctional or hospital setting.
• Unrestricted, current license in the state of practice – e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist - must maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations, provide therapeutic interventions and suicide prevention techniques; develop treatment plans for inmates.
• Monitor clinical needs of inmates on caseload; provide staff training on mental health topics.
• Document findings in health records; ensure compliance with facility and company policies.
