Job summary

A Better Way Therapy, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) to join our Omaha, NE team. You will assess and treat patients with diverse mental health needs using evidence-based approaches and maintain compliant EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• Active, unencumbered LIMHP license in Nebraska.
• 2+ years of post-master's experience preferred.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services.
• Experience with Excel/Outlook/Athena RMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health/substance use disorders.
• Complete Nebraska Medicaid IDIs for non-licensed clinicians and supervise cases.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based methods.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain accurate EMR and comply with regulatory requirements.
