Job summary

BetterHelp is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a fully remote position. This role offers competitive compensation between $43 to $59 per hour for live sessions, with additional bonuses and incentives. Counselors have the flexibility to set their own schedules and work from the comfort of their homes, contributing to a strong caseload with 70% of clients using insurance. Required qualifications include an independent license and at least 3 years of counseling experience, alongside a Master’s or Doctorate in a related field.

Requirements

• LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist / PsyD
• Experienced Mental Health Therapist or Counselor with a passion for helping adults, couples, or teens.
• 3+ years of mental health counseling experience
• Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
• Fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and can provide therapy without supervision.
• U.S. residency, private workspace, reliable internet, and liability insurance
• A private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
• Must have professional liability insurance.
• Reliable Internet connection.
• Currently residing in the US.
