Albert Knapp & Associates in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (Master's) to deliver evidence-based play therapy for children and teens with autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions. The role involves engaging families, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and applying CBT techniques in a supportive setting.

The position requires licensure (MFT/LPCC/LEP/LCSW) and availability for 3pm–8pm weekdays and Tuesday staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a MFT, LPCC, LEP, or LCSW.
• Available to work at least 3 afternoons/evenings 3pm–8pm and Tuesdays 11am–1pm.
• Minimum 1 year working with children and teens.
• Experience in insurance/government-funded practice preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based play therapy and CBT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse families.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must like dogs (office has a 5lb yorkie).

As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, you will work alongside our team of mental health professionals to provide evidence‑based play therapy for children and teens with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions. • Conduct play therapy sessions with children and teens to treat their cognitive, emotional, and social functioning
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and guidance
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to design and implement effective treatment plans
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and research‑based interventions

Requirements:

• Licensure as a MFT, LPCC, LEP, or LCSW.
• Must be available to work at least 3 afternoons and evenings 3pm-8pm and Tuesdays 11am-1pm for staff meetings and weekly group consultation.

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate based on years licensed and clinical work expereince: Licensed Under 2 Years $39-$44; Licensed 2 Years-5 Years $45-50; Licensed BBS 5+ Years $51-$55. All per clinical hour. All training, consultation, staff meetings, networking, and other non‑billable activities are paid at mininum wage.
