Job summary

American IV in Houston, TX is seeking a Licensed Aesthetician for a part-time role with 2–3 days per week. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20–$30 plus bonus opportunities, and requires an active Texas Aesthetician License and 1–2+ years of clinical experience in medical spa settings.

You’ll perform advanced aesthetic and energy-based treatments, create customized plans, educate clients, and maintain EMR documentation while collaborating with the medical director.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Aesthetician License required.
• 1–2+ years experience in medical spa, dermatology, or similar setting preferred.
• Strong skincare knowledge and device safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced aesthetic and skincare treatments (HydraFacial, chemical peels, microneedling, IPL, laser hair removal, laser resurfacing).
• Conduct client consultations and develop customized treatment plans.
• Educate clients on skincare, aftercare, and product recommendations.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with medical director on comprehensive treatment plans.
• Follow safety standards and Texas cosmetic laser regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional treatment environment.
• Participate in social media, ongoing training, team meetings and events.

A growing medical spa in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Licensed Aesthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about aesthetics, skincare, and helping clients look and feel their best.

This role is ideal for an aesthetic professional who is confident performing advanced skincare and laser treatments, developing customized treatment plans, and delivering an exceptional, five-star client experience.

About the Role

As a Licensed Aesthetician you will provide clinical aesthetic and cosmetic laser services while working closely with the medical director and other providers to create safe, effective, and personalized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about skincare, comfortable with energy-based devices, and committed to building lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced aesthetic and skincare treatments, including:
  • HydraFacial

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment
• Participate in social media, ongoing training, team meetings, and practice events

Requirements

• Active Texas Aesthetician License
• 1–2+ years of experience performing aesthetic treatments in a medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or similar clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of skincare, skin conditions, aesthetic treatments, and device safety
• Experience with multiple laser or energy-based platforms, such as laser hair removal, IPL, or non-ablative skin resurfacing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, personable, and patient-focused approach
• Comfortable with treatment planning, retail recommendations, and sales
• Ability to build strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation

Additional training may be provided for the right candidate.
