Job summary

TSP is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join our fast-paced, multidisciplinary design firm in Rapid City, SD. You will contribute to meaningful building projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical designs.

The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Revit proficiency is expected to support construction documents and specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Knowledge in design software primarily Revit.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for building projects.
• Prepare construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and consultants.
• Perform site visits, inspections, and building assessments.
• Mentor and support EIT team members.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
