Advance Design Consultants, Inc. is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join our San Jose, Sacramento, or Newport Beach offices. We deliver innovative engineering solutions across healthcare, federal, high-tech, biopharmaceutical, and commercial markets.

We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and leadership capability. Hybrid remote work is available in multiple CA locations.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE with 5+ years in an A/E or consulting firm.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience in healthcare, federal, high-tech or biopharma projects preferred.
• LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, laboratory and process piping systems.
• Perform analyses, prepare construction documents and develop specs.
• Ensure compliance with IMC, IPC, NFPA.
• Manage the mechanical scope for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Conduct site visits, field observations and support construction administration.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support client presentations, RFP responses and business development.
