The NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) seeks qualified LMSW licensed social workers to join its Division of Juvenile Justice and Opportunities for Youth (DJJOY). You will contribute to an interdisciplinary treatment team, providing a full range of social work services to at-risk youth in diverse settings.

Handle complex issues and exercise independent professional judgment in performing those duties.
May be required to supervise and train staff.

Transfer: One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer.
Open to the Public: This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS) program.
To be considered for appointment through NY HELPS, candidates must meet the open-competitive minimum qualifications for this position, which are:
License and current registration as a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State.
Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration.
DJJOY is recruiting clinicians to work evenings and weekends.
Employees in this title whose regularly scheduled shift includes evenings or weekends are eligible for a shift pay differential of 7% or 10%, based on the shift.
