Job summary

The Child Center of NY seeks a Social Worker to provide individual and group counseling and direct service to children, teens, adults and families in our Far Rockaway cornerstone centers in Queens. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, counseling/psychotherapy and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required.
• LMSW or LCSW certification preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

In this role you will:

The Social Worker is responsible for providing individual and group counseling and direct service to children, teens, adults and their families. These services range from assessment treatment planning, provision of counseling/psychotherapy and crisis intervention. The Social Worker is a member of the treatment team and collaborates with other team members.
