Herb + Ōhm in Bannockburn, IL, seeks an experienced part-time Licensed Massage Therapist to join its expanding integrative care team, starting in January. You will provide therapeutic, clinical-style massage that complements acupuncture and other therapies, working closely with licensed acupuncturists to support coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Illinois massage therapy license required in good standing.

About Herb + Ōhm

Herb + Ōhm Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine is a modern, results-driven practice where modern science meets ancient healing. We provide highly personalized care in an elevated, patient-centered environment, combining acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and innovative therapeutic modalities to help our patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health.

As we continue to expand our integrative care model, we are excited to introduce therapeutic massage as an additional service for our patients. We are seeking an experienced part-time Licensed Massage Therapist to join our Bannockburn clinical team starting in the end of January.

About the Role

This is an opportunity for a massage therapist who is passionate about therapeutic, results-focused care and wants to work as part of a collaborative clinical team.

At Herb + Ōhm, massage therapy will be thoughtfully integrated into our patients' broader care plans. Many of the patients you treat may also be receiving acupuncture and other therapies within our practice. You will work closely with our acupuncturists to understand patient goals, support continuity of care, and provide individualized therapeutic massage that complements their overall treatment.

Because this is a new service at Herb + Ōhm, we are looking for someone who is excited to grow with us and help establish an exceptional massage therapy experience for our patients.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, You Will:

• Provide high-quality therapeutic and medical-focused massage tailored to each patient’s individual needs and treatment goals.
• Collaborate closely with our licensed acupuncturists to support coordinated, integrative patient care.
• Treat patients who may also be receiving acupuncture and other services as part of their overall care plan.
• Communicate appropriately with our clinical team to support continuity of care and an exceptional patient experience.
• Educate patients on appropriate self-care and recommendations within your professional scope.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Prepare and reset treatment rooms while maintaining Herb + Ōhm's high standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
• Create a warm, professional, and elevated experience for every patient.
• Contribute to the thoughtful development and growth of our new massage therapy service.

What You Bring

• Current Illinois massage therapy license in good standing.
• Professional experience providing therapeutic, clinical, or medical-focused massage.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and individualized treatment approaches.
• A genuine interest in integrative medicine and collaborative patient care.
• Comfort working closely with acupuncturists and other members of a clinical team.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• A compassionate, patient-first approach with a focus on helping patients achieve meaningful results.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that will develop based on patient demand.

We are currently exploring availability Monday through Friday at our Bannockburn location. The schedule will be developed around patient demand and the therapist's availability as the service grows.

We are currently planning for a end of January start.
