Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare’s LIFT Wellness Center in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a licensed massage therapist to deliver skilled hands-on therapy to members and guests. You will use Swedish, deep-tissue, acupressure, and sports massage to relax overworked muscles, relieve pain, and support rehabilitation and overall well‑being.

The role requires client consultation, medical history review, and a clear treatment plan with consent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Licensed to practice massage in Tennessee; CPR/AED recommended.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and escort to massage area.
• Consult with client and review medical history to plan treatment.
• Assess soft tissue condition, joint function, ROM, and strength.
• Propose and obtain consent for a treatment plan.
• Provide massage modality and adjust based on client feedback.
• Respect client wishes to modify treatment within professional parameters.
• Refer to appropriate medical professionals when needed.
• Document sessions using SOAP notes.
• Perform related responsibilities as required.
