Job summary

The Athletic Club of Columbus is seeking a Massage Therapist to deliver exceptional massage therapy services to members. You will be responsible for creating a warm, inviting space and consulting with members to tailor services to their needs. The ideal candidate must hold a valid massage therapy license in Ohio and CPR certification, with proficiency in multiple massage techniques. A flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week is expected, with compensation based on commission and tips averaging $35 per hour.

Job description

As a Massage Therapist, we want you to bring your enthusiasm for well‑being through relaxation and the rejuvenating art of massage therapy to our members.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with a warm, inviting area to relax and receive spa treatments
• Consult with members to identify appropriate massage services, any special considerations of the member, and how we can best meet their expectations

Qualifications

• Valid massage therapy license through the State Medical Board of Ohio
• CPR Certified
• Proficient knowledge of reflexology, Swedish, hot stone, trigger point, sports, deep tissue, and other massage techniques
• Three or more years prior experience in a hospitality setting a plus
