The role requires a current Virginia license, graduation from an accredited program, and 3+ years of massage experience; weekend availability is preferred, with a flexible schedule and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Massage Therapy License in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
• 3+ years of professional massage experience preferred.
• Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and mobility-focused modalities.
• Availability: Flexible scheduling, with at least one weekend shift required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thoughtful consultations and assessments to build personalized treatment plans
• Perform a variety of massage and bodywork techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, therapeutic stretching, cupping, and scraping
• Educate clients on treatment recommendations and the benefits of consistent care
• Keep accurate, thorough client documentation
• Support scheduling and rebooking to help clients stay on track with their goals
• Keep treatment rooms and shared spaces clean, organized, and sanitized per protocol
• Bring positive energy to a collaborative, growth-oriented team
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, and licensing standards
