Job summary

Accident Care Chiropractic and Massage is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists to join our multidisciplinary clinics focused on auto-injury rehabilitation. You will provide therapeutic massage and soft tissue manipulation, contribute to individualized care plans, and document each patient encounter while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

This role offers a base rate of $40-50/hour, paid time off, flexible scheduling, and part-time shifts (primarily on Fridays).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Massage Therapists.
• Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques and patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic massage and soft tissue manipulation under the attending physician.
• Maintain patient charts and document each visit.
• Ensure proper cleanliness and disinfection of the massage room.
• Maintain massage room inventory and notify office manager of supplies.
• Log hours worked and assist with laundry and sheet handling.

Summary

In our clinics, LMTs are primarily responsible for providing a positive, hands‑on experience for patients dealing with chronic pain and acute injury secondary to a motor vehicle crash. We welcome all styles of massage therapy and soft tissue manipulation in our clinics, so long as they are therapeutic and beneficial for our patients. LMTs work in tandem with a strong team of providers, led by our Chiropractic Physicians, to ensure the best recovery for each patient on an individualized care plan. In addition to providing excellent care, massage therapists are responsible for documenting each patient encounter and ensuring that they maintain HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities And Tasks

• Perform therapeutic massage and soft tissue manipulation for our patients in need, under the direction of the Attending Physician.
• Typically, massage is provided on an hourly basis for each of our patients with a hands‑on time of at least 53 minutes.
• Create and maintain patient chart notes, documenting each visit.
• Proper cleanliness and disinfection of the massage room before and after patient visits.
• Maintaining proper inventory of the massage room and ensuring the office manager is aware of any needed supplies.
• Laundry between patients or during downtime, which also includes stocking and folding massage sheets as needed.
• Properly logging hours worked.

Required Qualifications

• Completion and license from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Licensed from the Washington Board of Massage Therapists.
• Thorough knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques.
• Ability to communicate well and work with team members in a medical setting.
• Dual licenses in both Oregon and Washington are a plus.
