Job summary

Elements Massage in McAllen, TX is seeking licensed massage therapists to join a therapist-focused team. We offer unparalleled advancement opportunities, on-site leadership, and full support including booking, laundry, and flexible shifts from 8:30am–3:00pm or 3:00pm–9:30pm.

Full-time MTs earn $30k–$40k per year, including tips, with paid CEUs, liability insurance reimbursement, and flexible scheduling to support career longevity.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Massage Therapist program.
• Must be fully licensed/certified to perform Massage Therapy prior to performing sessions at the studio.
• We love to speak with students, inexperienced, and experienced massage therapists with a wide variety of experience from private, medical massage therapy, resort spa / medical spa experience, and much more.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality massage services: review intake forms for contraindications and tailor service accordingly.
• Customize a 60-minute massage service plan for each client.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Educate clients on service benefits, visit frequency, and at-home care.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
• Maintain a written record of services delivered.
• Coordinate with studio management for client needs and future sessions.
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality massage services:

• Review the client’s intake form to determine any contraindications or considerations before the service.
• Complete analysis of each client to determine what type of service/product should be used to achieve their desired outcome.
• Customize a 60-minute massage service plan for each client based on their unique needs and body condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with studio guidelines.
• Adhere to all health and state safety regulations and guidelines.

Educate clients regarding services, visit frequency, and at-home care:

• Explain the benefits of regular massages and the positive impact clients may have in the overall improvement and health of their body.
• Provide each client with a recommendation on how frequently they should return for massage services to maintain their desired results.
• Customize and recommend an at-home regimen for each client to maintain their desired results between sessions.

Communicate professionally with clients and team members:

• Educate clients about the massage they are to receive to ensure alignment on what the end goals are for the session.
• Address any concerns during the session by educating and communicating with the client.
• Maintain a written record of services provided during each session.
• Keep a clear line of communication with the studio management team regarding client needs, additional session’s needs, and more.

Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by studio leadership.
