Fouquet's New York is seeking a skilled spa therapist to deliver luxury massage, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies to guests in our upscale spa.

You will escort guests, maintain records, provide orientation, recommend treatments, and ensure cleanliness. Strong English communication and professionalism are essential for exceptional guest service. This on-site role demands stamina and adherence to hotel standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must attend all training courses as deemed necessary by Spa Management.
  • Proven experience as a spa therapist, or 2+ years in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Solid knowledge of anatomy and physiology and massage techniques; Biologique Recherche a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
  • Maintain detailed records of massages and therapies performed.
  • Provide spa orientation to guests upon arrival (locker rooms, lounges, stations).
  • Offer guests beverages and amenities.
  • Communicate with guests to adjust massage techniques as needed.
  • Resolve guest complaints and report accidents to the supervisor.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; change sheets.
  • Explain treatments and provide recommendations as required.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete required training.
  • Follow company policies; maintain clean, professional appearance.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.

Job description

Salary: $17 hourly + tips + commission

Responsibilities:
  • Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms
  • Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
  • Provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.
  • Offer guests amenities such as beverages.
  • Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
  • Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatments room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.
  • Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete any training and certifications required.
  • Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Perform other job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED Preferred.
  • Must attend all training courses as deemed necessary and must adhere to training as set down by the Spa Management team.
  • Proven experience working as a spa therapist and or 2 Year Experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and different massage techniques. Experience or knowledge of Biologique Recherche is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
