Key responsibilities include client consultation, assessment, manual therapy, and maintaining client records. Qualifications

• Completion of postsecondary education (typically 500+ hours of study) covering anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology.
• Valid state or regional massage therapy license/certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive, physically demanding motions.

Responsibilities

• Review medical histories and understand the client's treatment goals.
• Evaluate the client’s soft tissues and muscle strength to develop a treatment plan.
• Apply pressure using hands, fingers, or elbows to manipulate muscles and ligaments.
• Perform specific techniques based on client needs.
• Provide guidance on posture, stretching, and relaxation.
• Document treatment progress and manage client bookings.
• Maintain a clean workspace and sanitization.
