Job summary

ACAC Charlottesville is seeking a qualified Massage Therapist to deliver professional services at The Spa. You will ensure client satisfaction by providing skilled massage therapy and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism within the club environment.

Responsibilities include gathering patron information, documenting treatments, restocking supplies, staying updated on spa offerings, and assisting the receptionist as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a Virginia massage therapy license and be in good standing.
• Demonstrated massage experience with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work varying shifts including weekends.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional massage therapy ensuring acac’s standards of excellence.
• Gathers complete and accurate information on new spa patrons.
• Keeps comprehensive and professional notes of services and treatments.
• Restocks and dispenses supplies and products to members and guests.
• Keeps knowledge of spa services and products up to date.
• Maintains a clean, neat treatment room and work space.
• Follows current sanitation standards for service implements.
• Ensures shifts are covered before taking leave.
• Assists the spa receptionist as needed.
• Maintains familiarity with acac programs.
• Promotes the acac spa and services during downtime.
• Training provided by acac; maintains current certification.
