Role Description

The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic massage services to support chiropractic care plans and promote patient wellness in an on-site setting located in Mount Vernon, WA. This full-time role includes performing a variety of massage techniques based on patient needs, documenting treatments accurately, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional treatment space. The therapist will collaborate with chiropractic providers to coordinate care, educate patients on stress management and self-care strategies, and support a positive experience from arrival through departure. Additional responsibilities include managing appointment flow, practicing infection control and safety protocols, and contributing to a welcoming, patient-focused clinic atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in therapeutic modalities, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage.
• Experience or training in specialized techniques such as Shiatsu and related massage methods.
• Skills in Stress Management and patient education to support overall wellness and relaxation.
• Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, clear communication, and patient comfort.
• Current state license as a Massage Therapist in Washington or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage within a clinical setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals.
• Capacity to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and providing repeated treatments.
• CPR/First Aid certification and prior experience in a chiropractic, medical, or wellness clinic are beneficial.
