Job summary

The NOW McKinney is seeking massage therapists who can share the healing power of touch and deliver therapeutic massages using Prenatal, Sports, and stretching techniques. This role offers full and part-time positions in a wellness-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Texas massage license required and must be presented during interview.
• Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue massage techniques.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and move with pace for up to 6 hours.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform room resetting tasks.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform through the benefits of massage therapy.
• Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.)
• Maintain service room to standards. All supplies are provided.
• Full and Part-time positions available.
• Will consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy who possess the right qualities and demonstrate an innate talent for and understanding of therapeutic massage.

Qualifications

• Desire to be part of a team that has an infectious passion for health and wellness.
• Massage License in the State of Texas. Must present a license/certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.
• Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities.
• Availability during prime earning potential periods including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours. The length of time for these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill room resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. It requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
