Thrive Massage & Healing Arts in Janesville, WI is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to work directly with clients using a wide range of modalities and to help improve clients’ quality of life through treatment-focused bodywork.

You will conduct intake interviews, set clear goals, and develop treatment plans addressing pain and dysfunction. Thrive offers a flexible mid-week schedule with no weekends and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Massage therapy diploma program with at least 600 hours of study.
• Experience: Entry level to senior level experience.
• Skills: Deep tissue is a must; bonus modalities include myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, Swedish, Craniosacral, kinesiology taping, Gua Sha, and fire cupping.
• Basic understanding of anatomy and kinesiology.
• Professional, appointment-based position requiring ethics, dependability, good communication and people skills.
• Desire to continue growing and learning in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed client intake interviews and analyze posture to develop symptom-specific treatment plans.
• Work with a diverse range of modalities (deep tissue, myofascial release, lymph drainage, Swedish, PNF, kinesiology taping, fire cupping).
• Maintain SOAP notes and chart client progress.
• Assist with laundry and light cleaning.
• Reschedule and cash out clients at the end of appointments.
• Open and close the clinic as needed to ensure smooth operation.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist at Thrive, you will be working directly with clients using a wide range of massage modalities. And as part of the Thrive team, you will be helping to improve the quality of people’s lives by taking bodywork beyond pampering to treatment. You will conduct intake interviews, set clear and trackable goals, and develop treatment plans to address the symptoms that are causing your clients’ pain and dysfunction. At Thrive, you will have a say in how many hours you work, and how many clients you see. We offer a flexible mid-week schedule and NO WEEKENDS!The shifts we currently have available are Tuesday day, Wednesday day, Thursday evening, and Friday day.

Your main objectiveis to conduct detailed client intake interviews, analyze posture, and develop symptom-specific treatment plans to enhance each client's quality of life by reducing pain.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Conduct thorough intake interviews to understand the client's concerns and needs.

Analyzing posture and assessing the client's physical condition to develop personalized treatment plans.

Creating and implementing customized treatment protocols to relieve pain and improve the client's well-being.

Maintaining accurateSOAP notes and charting client progress.

Performing laundry and light cleaning duties as required.

Rescheduling and cashing out clients at the end of their appointments.

Opening and closing the clinic as necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
