Association of Clinicians for the Underserved is seeking a Massage Therapist in Chicago, IL. The role involves providing professional massage services, creating customized sessions, and promoting wellness benefits to clients.

You will maintain clean therapy rooms and ensure accurate Wellness Chart documentation, while adhering to all policies. Full-time employment with medical/dental/vision benefits; licensing requirements in Illinois are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Massage therapy certification from an accredited school or program.
• Minimum one year massage therapy experience in a Spa or Athletic Facility setting preferred.
• Must have current Illinois state license.

Responsibilities

Job description

In addition to hourly compensation and commission bonuses, 20% auto-gratuity is applied to all services. All full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Position Title:

Massage Therapist

Reports To:

Fitness & Wellness Director and Operations Manager

Essential Functions:

• Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
• Designs specific sessions based on members or guests' individual needs.
• Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
• Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
• Communicates various promotions to members/guests.
• Follows all practice policies and protocols.
• Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).
• Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

Massage therapy certification from an accredited school or program.

Experience:

Minimum one year massage therapy experience in a Spa or Athletic Facility setting preferred.

Additional Skills:

Must have current Illinois state license. Must be personable, dependable, and service oriented.
