Responsibilities

• Educate clients on home self-care practices and relaxation techniques.
• Maintain clear, concise notes on client progress and session preferences.

We are seeking full and part-time passionate, professional, and skilled Licensed Massage Therapists to join our growing Elements Massage Studio team in beautiful Charleston, SC. We have locations in Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley and Summerville. Our mission is to provide high-quality, customized therapeutic bodywork that supports our clients' wellness, recovery, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Exceptional Care: Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, assessments, and health histories.
• Execute Varied Modalities: Perform customized treatments utilizing Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques. Mastery in additional modalities (e.g., Prenatal, Sports, Trigger Point, Lymphatic Drainage, Oncology) is highly valued.
• Client Consultations: Conduct brief pre-service assessments to determine appropriate pressure, focus areas, and potential contraindications.
• Maintain Sanity & Safety: Uphold strict cleanliness, sanitation, and professionalism protocols for your designated treatment space. Reset rooms between sessions.
• Promote Ongoing Wellness: Educate clients on home self-care practices, such as stretching or relaxation techniques, to complement their sessions.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain clear, concise, and respectful notes regarding client progress and session preferences.

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensure: Must hold a current, valid South Carolina Massage Therapy License.
• Education: Minimum completion of 500–650 hours from an accredited massage therapy school program.
• Insurance: Active professional liability insurance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate securely and compassionately with clients and team members.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours a day.
• Manual dexterity to perform repetitive physical motions and deep tissue bodywork consistently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 20 lbs. regularly to reset treatment rooms.
