Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.

• Experience providing services through telehealth.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse client populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client intakes, clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy through telehealth.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Systems Theory, Trauma-Informed approaches, DBT, and other clinically appropriate modalities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, clinical assessments, and treatment goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and appropriate support for clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral concerns.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment records.
• Provide culturally sensitive and client-centered care while incorporating appropriate counseling principles based on client needs.
• Collaborate with other professionals and support continuity of care when appropriate.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - New Jersey

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide high-quality mental health services through a remote/telehealth setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with individuals, couples, and families and have experience providing culturally responsive care to diverse populations, including Spanish-speaking clients.

• Employment: Part-Time (16-20 hrs./week) with potential to transition to Full-Time
• Location: New Jersey
• Part-Time Caseload: Approximately 20 sessions per week

Key Responsibilities

• Previous sales or business-development experience is a plus.
