Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Marion, IA seeks an LVN with leadership responsibilities to provide nursing care within scope of practice and in accordance with policies and regulations. Responsibilities

Uses Infection Control Manual knowledge and applies it in daily care.
Participates in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
Uses Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement and monitoring.
Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
Conducts family and patient education.
Administers medications timely and according to facility policy.
Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy.
Receives, transcribes and carries out physician orders per Nurse Practice Act.
Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
