Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to support loan officers in daily duties, improve loan production, and ensure a positive customer experience. You will interact with customers, officers, and processors to facilitate timely closings.

The role requires an NMLS license, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication, organization, and time-management skills to manage a diverse loan pipeline including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and related products.

Qualifications

• NMLS license required under the SAFE Act.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Sales support experience preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation.
• Review disclosure packages and deliver to borrowers.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages.
• Highlight deficiencies and notify loan officers/ processors.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain missing items.
• Provide general clerical support to loan officers/ processors.
• Support lending and processing in various stages as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans and others.
• Deliver appraisals or valuations to borrowers and track receipt.
• Follow up to ensure timely receipt of documents.
• Coordinate with Title Company and borrower to schedule closings.

Position Overview

The Licensed Loan Officer Assistant provides support to CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC’s ("CCM") mortgage loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels. The Licensed Loan Officer Assistant works directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and facilitate timely loan closings.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan application and documentation, which may include phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, overnighting documents, etc.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and work to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and then notifying the mortgage loan officer and/or loan processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information, as necessary, via phone, email, etc.
• General clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors, as needed.
• Work with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

• NMLS License Required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent.
• Previous sales support experience, preferred.
• Salesforce experience, preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
