Skillforce in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring licensed journeyman electricians to join our team. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems within a data center setting, with a focus on safety and code compliance.

Job description

Currently hiring for licensed journeymen electricians to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will be responsible for installing, electrical systems and equipment within an data center setting.

Working 50-60 hours per week.

Pay is $64 an hour + $750-$900 per diem weekly available if over 60 miles away.

MUST HAVE Valid Iowa JourneymanElectrical License or reciprocating license

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a data center environment.
• Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
• Install cable tray, pull and terminate feeders, power, and control wiring.
• Install and connect switchgear, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Perform all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License, or the ability to reciprocate into Iowa before starting.
• Commercial and/or data center electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with conduit installation, cable tray, feeders, and terminations.
