Cranney Home Services in Danvers, MA is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber for residential service work. You will install, repair, and maintain heating, water, and drainage systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

The role offers two shifts, competitive $40–$50 per hour with DOE, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K with company match, life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License is required.
• 5+ years of plumbing experience.
• 2+ years running your own calls.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Plumbing layout and troubleshooting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, or repairs pipes, fittings, or fixtures per codes.
• Ensures client satisfaction and cleanup after work.
• Directs helpers in cutting, pre-assembly, or installation.
• Tests systems to locate leaks and verify proper operation.

Duties:

• Assembles, installs, or repairs pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems, according to specifications or plumbing codes.


• Ensures client satisfaction with all work, including cleanup.


• Assembles pipe sections, tubing, fittings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.


• Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools.


• Directs helpers engaged in pipe cutting, pre-assembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components.


• Fills pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observes pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.


• Conducts appropriate tests to ensure successful completion of each plumbing job.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Journeymen Plumber License.


• OSHA 10 certification is preferred.


• 5+ years of plumbing experience.


• 2+ years of experience running your own calls.


• Extension Plumbing knowledge: gas, boilers and able to troubleshoot.


• Plumbing layout knowledge- “How it works, how its connected”.


• Tech proficiency (tablet).


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team.
