Job summary

Skillforce is currently hiring licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long-term travel data center project. As a Journeyman Electrician you will install, connect, and maintain electrical systems in a data center environment.

You must hold an active Journeyman Electrician License in North Dakota or a qualifying reciprocating state, or be willing to complete the North Dakota licensing reciprocity process prior to starting. Licensing fees will be reimbursed by the company.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Electrician License in North Dakota or a qualifying reciprocating state, or willingness to complete reciprocity before starting.
• Licensing fees reimbursed by the company.
• Commercial and/or data center electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to work up to 70 hours per week.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Must be willing and able to travel out of state and stay near the project site for duration of the assignment.
• Weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a data center environment.
• Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
• Install cable tray, pull and terminate feeders, power, and control wiring.
• Install and connect switchgear, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Perform all work in accordance with the NEC and site safety requirements.

As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician you will be responsible for installing, connecting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in a data center environment. Licensing fees will be reimbursed by the company.

Pay:$65/hour + $175 per diem for days worked for qualified travelers

Schedule:55-70 hours per week

License Requirement: Active Journeyman Electrician License in North Dakota or a qualifying reciprocating state (Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming), or be willing to complete the North Dakota licensing reciprocity process prior to starting work. Licensing fees will be reimbursed by the company.

Licensed Journeymen Electrician Responsibilities:

• Current active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License, or a qualifying Journeyman License from a reciprocating state ( Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming), or the ability to complete the reciprocating process before starting.
• Commercial and/or data center electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to work up to 70 hours per week.
