Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician (Maintenance) to support electrical maintenance, repair, and installation across educational facilities. The role requires a valid electrical journeyman license and experience with 480V and below systems.

Responsibilities include diagnostic testing with multimeters, following NEC guidelines, and managing work orders and dispatching to address routine and emergency tasks. Safety and reliability are priorities.

Qualifications

Must provide copy of license.
Must be able to work with 480V and below.
Proficient with multimeter and electrical diagnostic testing techniques.
Proficient with work order systems and dispatching.
Perform installations and repairs per National Electrical Code (NEC).
Carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections and adjustments.
Maintain equipment safely and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties involving electrical maintenance, repair and installation of building electrical equipment and systems.
Ensure proper use of multimeter and testing techniques on electrical components.
Operate work order systems and manage dispatching for routine or emergency tasks.
Conduct electrical installations and repairs per NEC and related standards.
Execute Preventive Maintenance inspections and adjustments on electrical equipment.
Maintain safety and minimize downtime through proactive testing and maintenance.
