Job summary

Monts Agency for Farmers Insurance in Texas is seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Producer to serve as a trusted advisor for our neighbors, helping families secure their home, vehicle, and future through consultative sales and ongoing relationship building.

You will meet new business goals, solicit leads, present quotes, and close sales while documenting interactions in CRM. A positive, coachable mindset and ongoing learning are valued. Mon-Fri schedule with life insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in Texas.
• Proven track record of managing and closing insurance sales.
• Clear and professional communication style, both verbally and in writing.
• High level of comfort using computers and insurance-specific software.
• Ability to obtain a Life and Health license if not already held within 60 days of hire.
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.
• Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Document each customer contact in CRM.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
• Maintain knowledge of new products.
• Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
• Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and potential client lists.
• Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
